Privacy policy.

Last updated 7 October 2026.

This policy explains what personal data the Peak Zone website and the Peak Zone app handle, why, where it is kept, who sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written for everyone who meets Peak Zone: visitors to this website, the staff of the clubs that use the app, and their players.

In short

  • The website sets no cookies and does not track you.
  • In the app, the data a club records belongs to the club. We keep it for the club, in the European Union.
  • A player’s own answers are used only with the player’s agreement, which they can withdraw at any time in the app.
  • We do not sell personal data, we show no advertising, and no club ever sees another club’s data.

Who is responsible

Peak Zone is provided by the operator of this website, referred to below as “we”. You can reach us at office@peakzoneapp.com.

For this website, and for the accounts we set up, we decide how personal data is used.

For what a club records in the app about its staff and players, the club decides. We process that data on the club’s behalf and only on its instructions. If you are a player or a member of staff, your club is your first contact about it; you can also write to us, and we will help or pass your request to the club.

The website

This website has no accounts, no forms, no advertising and no analytics. It sets no cookies. Its fonts are served from the site itself, so reading it contacts no one else.

Your browser remembers the language you choose, on your own device. It is not sent to us, and clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare receives your device’s network address and the pages it asks for, in order to deliver them and to protect the site from attacks.

If you write to us, we use your address and your message only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

The app: what it records

The app is used by clubs, by invitation. Depending on your role, it records:

  • Your account: the identifier of your sign-in, your club, your role, and the name and contact details entered in your profile.
  • Each player’s training data: the name the club uses, the position, a photo if the club adds one, and what the club imports from its GPS exports and fitness tests, such as minutes, distances and speeds.
  • The club’s own records: sessions and matches, injuries and returns to play, targets, and every decision made by staff, with who made it and when.
  • A player’s own answers, only with the player’s agreement: how hard a session was, how they feel, how they slept, and any pain or discomfort they report, with the part of the body.

The app shows no advertising and contains no analytics or tracking tools.

Why, and on what legal basis

Training data, injury records and decisions are used so the club can manage its players’ training load and keep a reliable record of what it decided. The club is responsible for the legal basis of this data, which is usually its relationship with the player as employer.

A player’s own answers include information about their health. They are used only with the player’s explicit agreement, given in the app, and they are kept apart from the club’s training data.

Account details are used to sign you in and to show each person the club and the screens their role allows.

Peak Zone makes no automatic decisions about anyone. It shows load in bands, with the reasons, and a person always decides.

Who can see it

The club’s staff, according to the role the club gives each of them. A player sees their own data and never another player’s.

A player’s own answers are seen by the club’s coaches and medical staff, and only while the player’s agreement is in force.

No club can see another club’s data.

We can reach the data only to run, secure and support the service.

Where it is kept, and who helps us

The app and its database run on Microsoft Azure, in a data centre in the European Union.

Sign-in is handled by Microsoft. Microsoft holds the address and password you sign in with, and tells the app only who you are and what your role is.

Invitations and other emails from the app are sent through our email provider.

These providers may use the data only to provide their service to us. Where a provider handles data outside the European Union, it does so under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

On your device

So that it works on the pitch with no signal, the app keeps a copy of what your role can see on your device, and keeps your changes there until it can send them.

When you sign out, that copy is removed from the device. Only changes not yet sent stay until they can be sent, together with your language and display preferences, which name no one.

The app uses the storage of your browser or phone only for this. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

How long it is kept

Training data, injury records and the decision history are kept for the club for as long as the club uses Peak Zone. The decision history is never changed after the fact: it is the club’s record of what was known and decided at the time.

When a player withdraws their agreement, coaches stop seeing the player’s answers and the app stops asking for new ones. What the player already sent is kept but no longer used, so the player can change their mind. The player can ask for it to be erased, and we erase it.

The record that a player gave or withdrew their agreement, and when, is kept as proof.

When a club stops using Peak Zone, it can ask for an export of its data, after which we delete it. Copies held in backups disappear as those backups expire.

Emails you send us are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to limit its use, to receive it in a form you can take elsewhere, and to object to its use.

Where your data is used with your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time. A player does this in the app, under Settings. Withdrawing does not undo what was done lawfully before.

Send a request to your club or to office@peakzoneapp.com. We answer within one month, or pass the request to your club and help it answer.

Some records cannot be erased while the club still needs them as its own record, such as the history of decisions about a player’s return to play. When that applies, we tell you why.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), at www.dataprotection.ro. You can also go to the authority where you live or work.

Young players

Peak Zone is used by clubs and is not offered to children directly. When a club invites a player who is too young to give agreement on their own, in Romania anyone under 16, the club must obtain it from a parent or guardian.

Security

Connections to the website and the app are encrypted, and the data is stored encrypted by our hosting provider. Every request is checked on the server against the account’s club and role, not only on screen.

When we change this policy we publish the new version on this page, with the date at the top.
